Project Overview

The 12,500 sqft community center contained a multi-purpose great room with a seating capacity of up to 215. The center was equipped with a cardio and activity room to host park programs and was available for private rentals. It also served as the new home of the Park Department Administration Offices, which had previously been located at Rohrman Park. It included a kitchen and provided access to the outdoor patio area. With the use of room dividers, the space could be divided into smaller rooms for more intimate events. The Center served public programs sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department and housed offices for the staff. The new Recreation Center hosted programming for all age groups.
