Berglund Construction built a new Training and Wellness Center for the Pipefitter’s Association Local 597. The new 30,000 sqft building was constructed on an open, three acre site. The building is a one-story, slab-on-grade, masonry bearing wall with steel joist and deck structure.

The new Pipefitters facility houses three distinct offices including a 19-room wellness center, with on-staff physicians, nurses, and a lab. An administration area features individual cubicles, a conference room, and a waiting area. Lastly, the facility has 24 customized welding booths, multipurpose areas, a training room, a material hoist, a rigging structure, as well as two mechanical rooms and a showpiece boiler room.
