Berglund Construction completed the interior renovation the 13,500 sqft on the first floor of the Mercy Care Center, Oakwood Shores Terrace. The project included minor remodeling of the existing north suite for exam rooms and supports areas for Urgent Care, Care Coordination and the Illinois Cervical Cancer and Breast Program. Additionally, our team remodeled the south suite into a diagnostic imaging center which includes Mammography, Ultrasound, MRI, CT, X-Ray, and support areas. The installed MRI is the Freemax .5T Unit provided by Siemens which features newly introduced technology making the Diagnostic Imaging Center the first to install one in the nation.
