Project Overview
Berglund Construction completed restoration work for the Arthur Rubloff Building located on the Northwestern Medical Campus. The building houses the Northwestern University School of Law and Northwestern Medical.
The scope of work consisted of two entry plazas. We demolished the existing east plaza, reinstalled existing granite and installed new granite panels to match. We also installed new stainless steel handrails, a concrete walkway and landscaping along the plaza, along with minor electrical and urethane injection repairs.
Similar work was done on the south plaza. After demolishing the plaza, we installed new concrete frostwalls and footings, a concrete ramp, granite cladding, stairs and pavers, lighting upgrades and landscaping.
