Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and lead large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex construction projects and possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction planning, design, and execution.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within financial constraints.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and project team members.
- Establish project timelines and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and address potential risks or delays.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers and manage the procurement process.
- Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and billing.
- Mentor and lead junior project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to project specifications.
- Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects (commercial, residential, or industrial).
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project, etc.).
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification preferred.
