On Wednesday, April 3rd, St. Bernard Hospital, located on Chicago's south side, held an official Grand Opening Celebration for the hospital’s new Dental Clinic. The new clinic is located within St. Bernard Hospital’s Ambulatory Care Center. The new 3,000 sqft center includes eight new dental suites, private exam rooms, a standalone x-ray room, a waiting area and doctor and staff offices.
The Dental Clinic offers routine dental care for children and adults and also specializes in working with special needs patients. Special needs dental clinic staff are trained and experienced in serving patients with physical complexities such as Down Syndrome and Cerebral Palsy, as well as those who experience anxiety such as patients on the autistic spectrum. St. Bernard's Dental Clinic is one of the only clinics in the Chicagoland area that specializes in working with special needs patients.
Berglund Construction was awarded Preconstruction and Construction Services for the project and worked directly with St. Bernard Hospital and Anderson Mikos Architects to complete the project.
