On Wednesday night, Berglund Construction received the Special Award of Restoration Excellence at Docomomo's Modernism in America Awards. Hosted at the Design Within Reach Third Avenue Studio in New York City, the ceremony highlighted the diversity of significant modern buildings and sites – not just the iconic but also those that are regionally significant - and the increasing importance of regional forces and sensitive development.

Berglund received the award for our work restoring Frank Lloyd Wright's Unity Temple, which we completed in 2017. The jury noted the "the high level of expertise and care that went into the restoration." Fred Berglund, company president, and Jack Tribbia, president of the Restoration Division, were both in attendance to accept the award alongside other key team members including Harboe Architects, PC, and Project Management Advisors., Inc. We are grateful for the extraordinary efforts of our team who made this project a truly remarkable journey.
