The University of Chicago Medical center recently commended Berglund Construction for its exemplary work on the Mitchell Hospital Postpartum Unit Renovation Project. Jason Keeler, executive vice president and COO at the University of Chicago Medicine, wrote in a letter that Berglund Construction was honored for its “outstanding performance as a contractor in construction, activation and operation startup.”

“Your team’s dedication and professionalism along with your untiring work ethic were instrumental in the successful completion of this project,” Keeler said.

Berglund, in partnership with a team of qualified subcontractors, finished the multi-phased renovation of the approximately 22,000 sq. ft. Postpartum Unit in a 12-month period while clinic operations continued on the floor.
