Berglund Construction, an industry-leading building and restoration firm, announces its newly restructured executive leadership team, intentionally aligned with its growth objectives. These changes reflect the company’s long-term strategic and succession plan to position the 113-year-old firm for continued future success.
Fred Berglund, who has served as company president since 1995, will become the firm’s Chief Executive Officer. Under Fred’s leadership, Berglund has grown from a $30 million company in one Chicago office to a $350 million company with projects and offices, nationwide. As CEO, Fred will continue to steer the company’s direction, manage the executive team, and oversee innovation strategies.
Jeffrey Berglund, who represents the fourth generation of Berglund family leadership, will become President of Berglund’s Building Division and the company’s first Chief Growth Officer. Most recently, Jeffrey served as the leader of Berglund’s growing Indiana and Ohio operations. In his new role, Jeffrey will oversee all aspects of the Building Division’s operations, which includes its new construction and interior renovation groups. As Chief Growth Officer, he will direct marketing and sales efforts across all geographies and divisions of the company.
The firm’s executive team is bolstered by two tenured leaders who have been instrumental in the company’s success. Kevin Geshwender has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company for 25 years. Kevin’s tenure is marked by strong financial performance and operational success amidst continued growth at Berglund. His leadership positively impacts all facets of Berglund’s operations and company culture.
Jack Tribbia has served as President of the firm’s Restoration Division for over 30 years. Under Jack’s leadership, the Restoration Division has doubled in size over the past five years, surpassing $100 million in revenue in 2023. Jack is widely recognized as a leader in the building restoration industry. He has developed a high-performance team that regularly undertakes the most challenging projects with excellence.
