Over his eight years at Berglund, Jake has consistently demonstrated adaptability and has become an invaluable asset to our company. Starting as an Estimator and Assistant Project Manager, Jake has now transitioned into his new role supporting our Corporate Accounting and Project Accounting groups. His extensive industry knowledge and deep understanding of our company functions will significantly enhance our internal operations and support our continued growth.
Chris Byers Promoted to Senior Project Manager
Chris Byers has been an invaluable asset to our team in Wisconsin since he joined in August 2022. He quickly displayed his dedication to Berglund and his alignment with our core values. Chris has successfully managed some of our most complex projects and is currently leading the team at the Waukegan Carnegie Library project. Congratulations to Chris on this well-deserved promotion!
Neil Offerman Promoted to Senior Project Manager
Neil's dedication to Berglund and the success of our team is unmatched. Over his 12+ years with Berglund, Neil’s leadership has led to successful projects for numerous clients. Most recently, he has worked on the Griffin Museum of Science and Industry and University of Chicago Medicine, restoring historical landmarks, and building facilities that transform our community.
Whitney Sorenson Promoted to Project Manager
Since joining the team in February 2023, Whitney has been instrumental in the success of the Lathrop Hall project in Madison. This year, she has taken on a leading role for Lathrop Hall while also contributing to the completion of other projects. Whitney consistently demonstrates a ‘focus on the client’ mentality and maintains an exceptional attention to detail.

Over his 7-year tenure with Berglund, Orlando has proven to be an invaluable asset, spending 4.5 years in the field and 2.5 years in the office.
